Few hours before (9. AM 13 SEP, Pacific Time) Microsoft announced Windows 8 and they showed the Preview in their keynote. They also promised that Developer Preview is available to all and not just developers.

The Developer preview is available in 64 Bit with and without developer tools and also in 32 Bit version, Windows 8 mostly works on any PC which supports Windows 7. Windows 8 system requirements are almost same as windows 7. All you need minimum 1GHz Processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of free hard drive space and a DirectX 9 graphics card with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.
