Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ G3 comes in a simple plastic wrapper like other kingston USB flash drives. Locker+ GB is small and coated with brushed aluminum to make it look like a premium product. The important thing about this Locker+ G3 is security.
Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ G3 protects the data with password and has hardware level encryption. If we forget our password, we have only option to reset the password by wiping all the contents of the USB drive. The Locker+ G3 software is is loaded when the USB drive is connected to a computer. To access the contents of the USB drive we must enter the password. There is also 3 other option. Show password hint, reset password and show contact information. This might help us to recover the lost USB drive.
If we click show password hint. It shows the text we entered in the hint during the creation of the password. If we rest the password, the drive automatically removes all the contents of the drive. The other option is show contact information, this might help us to recover the USB drive incase if we missed it anywhere. We can our contact information if we access the USB drive with correct software. I got around 135 MB/s read and 30 MB/s write speed.
This secure Locker+ G3 comes with additional features like if we enter password 10 times wrong it will automatically wipes the data stored on the drive.
