Apple yesterday unveiled its new MacBook Pro Retina Display with Intel Haswell processor and Iris GPU. Apple also launched OS X Mavericks. OS X Mavericks is free update for existing Mac users.
Apple improved their MacBook Pro with Retina Display with the new Intel Haswell chipset and Intel Iris GPU chipset to increase the performance to the machine. The 13 inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is packed with 2.4 GHz dual core Intel i5 processor which can be configured up to 2.8 GHz dual core i7 Processor. The default system memory of the RAM is 4G with can be configured up to 16 GB of RAM. There is a storage option of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1TB PCIe-based flash storage. The battery life of the updated MacBook Pro comes up to 9 hours.
The 15 inch MacBook Pro is packed with 2.0 GHz Quad core Intel i7 processor which can be upgraded to 2.6 GHz Intel i7 Quad core processor. 15 inch Retina MacBook pro also has PCIe based flash storage and comes with 256GB or 512 GB which can be upgraded to 1TB storage option. This model comes with Intel iris pro graphics or NVidia GeForce GT 750M with 2GB DDR5 memory GPU. The battery life of the mac book pro comes up to 8 hours
