In iOS 5 Apple has added a feature that we can use volume up button as shutter release button to snap pics using the camera app. This applies for your inline headphones remote control too. Open the camera app press volume + button on your headphone to snap. Now you can easily mount your iPhone or other iDevice with a tripod to snap sharp pictures.

Must be with default headset i believe. i just tested it with my In Ear Headphone and it is not working 🙁
