Market research firm  interviewed around 4,500 people in Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil, China, the United States and Japan. They came to fact that 84% of iPhone users said they will replace iPhone for iPhones. About 60% of Android users plans to stick with Android devices. 1. This is hardly surprising. There’s an an article about this phenomenon in Uncyclopedia: Cult of Apple. Personally I think that Apple’s marketing will be taught in marketing schools for generations to come.

The secret is, I think, is to create for their users a sense of community, of a social club, to which you can only belong if you have what it takes. And it takes an Apple product to belong. Once you’re in the club, you feel special; you feel accepted, like you’re part of something greater. And so the last thing you would want is to leave the club by replacing your Apple product.
